If will alert you that the tuner is needed for an upcoming recording  
and give you the option to cancel the recording, leave it on livetv  
and watch as it records or go to the main menu. The default is to  
watch while it records and will do so if you do nothing to prevent it  
so you won't miss any recordings that way.
