Not a bug. That's the desired behavior--at least until someone does an
enhancement to add a confirmation prompt.

It's actually not so much being fast as knowing the exact sequence of
events that cause it to become unselectable. However, your upgrading to
a more recent revision will probably take less time than reading about
how to do a delete.
