The results I get for datadirect.webservices.zap2it.com are pretty
much identical to those I saw when tracing to labs.zap2it.com:
11 gar3-p370.cgcil.ip.att.net (12.123.6.5) 70.587 ms
12 mdf1-gsr12-2-pos-7-0.chi1.attens.net (12.122.255.194) 75.542 ms
13 mdf1-bi8k-2-eth-1-1.chi1.attens.net (63.240.128.134) 72.400 ms
14 * * *
15 206.18.98.160.tms-idc.com (206.18.98.160) [open] 94.408 ms
It still looks as though a single filewall is not returning ICMP
messages but the rest of the connection completes just fine as long
as you're sending TCP packets and not ICMP pings. Have you tried
using tcptraceroute?
FWIW, I got my listings just fine about 4 hours ago. I haven't had
any mythfilldatabase problems recently.
Try running 'mythfilldatabase -v important,general,network,timestamp'
from the shell and post the results.
