Nah, remember X can handle many screens.  It all depends on how well based off what hardware and what you want to do.  For a simple screen and a movie, I dont see too much of a problem, providing that you are using a decent video card (GF5 or 6 series should be enough).  A gps (simple graphically) and a music/xm screen would be simple.
