Sure, one could insert some more info gathering before the 
killall line and get a nice package in the mail every time
mythbackend got into trouble. Plus mythbackend would get
automatically restarted, so that one wouldn't miss that
crucial episode of whatever.

In my case, it's ivtv related and it happens only every couple
months, so it isn't itching nearly bad enough for me to scratch.
