yeah this is the line i use in modprobe.conf

install saa7134 /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install saa7134; /sbin/modprobe saa7134-dvb

Now with the channels for hd, I import the qam channel file in mythtv-setup. I have a channel source set up as HD qam that pulls the channel info from zap2it as well. After importing the channels.conf file it creates duplicate channels in my channels table in the database. I just edit the zap2it channel listings to match the info from the channels.conf scanned file in certain areas like the source and all the other different info except like the actual channel numbers used. so far I havn't had a problem changing the sourceid to match the dvb card and then also changing the channelid for say channel 762 to 3762 (if the a180 tuner is source 3). I do all this through mysql-front program. Hope that isn't too complicated a way to explain things.
