I am having a serious problem with av sync that has begun since I
switched over from mythburn to mytharchive a few months back. While
trying to track down the source of that problem I am having a problem
with running mythtranscode from the shell. This problem is when I run
mythtranscode from the shell it does not use the cutlist even though I
pass --honorcutlist or even -l as a param.
Here is the command I executed:
mythtranscode --mpeg2 --honorcutlist -i 2010_20060810145900.mpg -o
2010_20060810145900.mpg.new --showprogress
# ls -alh 2010_20060810145900.mpg*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2.3G Aug 12 04:18 2010_20060810145900.mpg
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2.2G Aug 12 05:59 2010_20060810145900.mpg.new
After transcoding the file is 2.2GB which is not much different from
the ~2.3GB it was before the transcode. The thing is this program is
over 30% commercials and typically when I run high quality transcode
from inside myth the file becomes ~1.2GB. I have also verifyied that
the commercials are still in.
I am using svm mythtv 0.19.20060708-1 10703 with my master server a
x86 and my slave an amd64 box both on gentoo.
