[mythtv-users] Hooking Hauppauge NOVA-T remote to NOVA-T-less frontend ...

looks like the nova-t ir receiver expects 5v, whereas the com2 connector 
on my m/b, to which I want to attach it, produces 12v :-(

I don't know enough about electronics to have a go at this. So, I am 
going to wait to hear back about this ready made homebrew option - also 
suffering from the 5v/12v issue:
