I'll do what I can, as usual, depends on what the load is at work.
Don't color code, please, us color blind/deficient/etc people HATE it.
As for version differences, the problem I see is that the new versions
come out faster than the wiki documentation is put together. Perhaps,
as a policy, if one is writing about a version older than the current
release that they need to specify which version they are using. As
well, upon new releases, when updating the documentation, mark changed
material as for the previous version to which it applies instead of
deleting.
