[mythtv-users] Possible to use Dell Remote Control with lirc or otherwise?

Hi,

"I'll research and see if I
can somehow configure key presses from this keyboard to be directed to
mythfrontend without having to give mythfrontend mouse focus."

OK, so you have the exact same setup I do (apart form the twin head)

I've managed to get lirc to intercept the keypresses and turn them into
sensible symbols (lircd + lircd.conf)
These turn up in irw

And last night I learnt how to write lircrc files, so those symbols hook up
to myth tv functions no problem now.

And the best part is lircd automatically stop the kay presses from reaching
anything (which is good, because the keycodes that Power on the TwinHan
remote sends really upsets X)
