[mythtv-users] Frontend auto login keyboard issues in mplayer

As per the instructions at
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Frontend_Auto_Login and using option 1
I set up my FC4 box to automatically login to mythfrontend.  I can navigate
around mythtv using hte keyboard however when I play video I lose keyboard
controls.   If I have my system set to boot into KDE and then run
mythfrontend my keyboard functions work in all programs.  Has anyone else
experienced this?
