OK, I stand corrected.  Hitachi actually designed their fixed-pixel 
displays with a progressive native resolution and an interlaced native 
mode by only using illuminating half of the pixels at a time...  I'm 
glad Samsung didn't do this with their DLP's.  I paid for 2M pixels, so 
I want to use them all--even if it means deinterlacing 1080i...  ;)
