Hi, 

After 2 week, to get VFD working, it OK 

My configuration. 
parport is set to 0x278 on irq 5 with type EPP 
and my LCDd.conf

Driver=HD44780 
Bind=127.0.0.1 
Port=13666 
WaitTime=5 
User=nobody 
#ServerScreen=no 
#Foreground=yes 
#Heartbeat=on 
#InitialHeartbeat=on

BacklightBrightness=255 
BacklightOffBrightness=0 

[HD44780] 
# Hitachi HD44780 driver

Port=0x278 
ConnectionType=winamp

DelayMult=2 

without the two last  line in the configuration file, the VFD not
working (jibberish character)
