[mythtv-users] Spontaneous Reboot w/ PVR-500/150

Joerg,

It seems that when I pipe through gzip and bzip as you did, I don't see any
reboots. However, when I access it normally, it reboots usually in less than
a minute, and memory didn't seem to decrease terribly. However, behaviour I
observed using an older version of ivtv DID act the way you're describing.
Can you try the following two things and see if either gives you any
different results?:

1. disable motherboard's on-board ethernet (saw this on the ivtv-devel)
2. use latest ivtv 0.3.9 drivers
