[mythtv-users] TV tuner card help for freeivew {Scanned}

Hello

i am running fredora core 4 with mythtv sute V0.18.1

i have a vision plus DVB-T card with the conexant fusion 878a chipset.

the card is seen on boot by fredora as the output from /sbin/lspci -v

in /etc/modprobe.conf  i have
alias char-major-81 bttv

which was added for me by fredora,
i have since added
options bttv card=51 tuner=2
this was to fix tvtime reporting no /dev/video0 device

mythtv or tvtime do not pick up any chanels or signals from the card and 
i am quite lost as to what to try now.
what do the ard=51 tuner=2 mean?

i have setup mythtv and done chanel listing and mysql database but i 
just can not get it to use the dvb card.

any help would be gratly apresheated
