Is the path to your live TV buffer /buffer or /video/buffer? (from the
dir listing it isn't obvious if you have concatenated the 3 items, or
if they are all subdirs of /video or another directory themselves)

I'd also check to see if there are any files in your buffer directory
with bad permissions.
