I don't think so, but HDMI is more or less just DVI in a different  
pin configuration with HDCP tied to it. DVI to HDMI is going to be  
the best picture, if it'll work on your set. Its hit and miss for  
some folks whether they can feed a DVI/HDMI signal to their TV. I  
lucked out with my new set, at least for my Myth box... My Myth box  
has no problem feeding it via DVI from a GeForce 6200, while my  
PowerBook G4 recognizes a display, shows the EDID info and resolution  
correctly, but no image ever shows up on screen...

Mine takes 1080p on both VGA and DVI. I'm using DVI, but tried VGA  
too for fun. VGA has some overscan, while DVI fits the screen  
perfectly. DVI to DVI is NICE, and definitely the best option of all  
of 'em, if ya got it... :-)
