[mythtv-users] HDTV format question

The VGA input on the TV only accepts 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768. I tried
messing around with modelines to get it to go widescreen, but the tv would
cut off the picture at the edges and leave black bars like it was an SD
signal.
I guess I'll go with the DVI to HDMI converter cable.
Well, if you had a video card with an audio->HDMI pass-through from a
soundcard it would work. Probably wouldn't be very hard to do.
