Not UK but at least europe: 

I've had good results with Netgear Rangemax stuff - WPN311 PCI Card with
madwifi driver and WPN824 wireless router. Throughput + link quality is
noticably better than the "plain" 802.11g setup that got replaced. I'm
livin in an old building (walls > 0.5m thick) so it's quite a challenge
to get any wireless setup to work; this is the first setup I'm happy
with.
