Rather than deleting them, try turning on "show favorites" and then
select only the channels you want to see. New channels added to the
lineup should show up as non-favorite, and since you didn't actually
delete the channels you don't want then they shouldn't be recreated.
This is only a partial solution, however - mythfilldatabase will
still get listings for any channel in your lineup, and will probably
include them in the searches when filling the recording schedule.
The long-term solution is to find out why your XML download is
including channels you don't want and eliminate them at the source.
This is easy with tv_grab_na_dd and zap2it, but for other sources you
may want to use the xmltv grabber's filter capability.
