My local store still has them in-stock, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I am wondering if ASUS is planning a refresh of the board in the
Digimatrix anytime soon.  I'd hate to pay the VERY premium price and have
something newer released soon after.

Yes, it seems like one of the best options going.  I want my MythTV
front-end to be as little like a PC as possible.

Yeah, I don't need either the WiFi or the tuner either so any less
complexity is a good idea.

Not a terribly bad compromise but 1080p would be futureproof.
