Per-show transcoding (using built-in mythtranscode exists in SVN; I'm
not sure about 0.18.x). You have to enable transcoding for the
schedules, and you also have to enable transcoding for the recording
profile (e.g., a DVB profile vs. a PVR profile, where the PVR one
wouldn't need transcoding since it has hardware already).
You could certainly use a user-job in 0.18.x, but I can't suggest a
command-line.
