I posed the question to Geoff (the guy that made the build) and here's his

The above line is your problem.  These builds only work with versions newer
than 0.18.1 (ie the current svn development branch)  There are builds
available for 0.18.1, but they tend to be broken because of a bug that was
fixed in the code base after the 0.18.1 release.  The options you have are
to upgrade your backend to SVN or find one of these older builds.  I used to
host one of these but I kept getting reports of it being broken so I took it
down.

So. The question is..

Is the current SVN version stable?  Should I upgrade the backend?
