Correct. This can be done with a power search rule created from Custom
Record http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-11.html#ss11.8

channel.callsign="CNN"

for the next time a hurricane strikes or a war breaks out. However,
'station' is one of the Advanced search fields so there is another way
to create this same power search rule. 

Go to Search Words->Advanced choose "<New Search>" and choose only the
station then click OK. You should see all the listings for that channel.
Press "M" for the popup, "M" or tab to move focus to the buttons then
click Record. Choose "Record at any time on any channel" ("any channel"
sounds odd but the rule will just match the chosen channel =). You can
then set any options that will apply to all recordings from this channel
then press Save.
