[mythtv-users] Comcast being coy?

That's just plain not right. I picked up 2 HDTV boxes from my local Comcast
(Vancouver WA) without any problems whatsoever. I didn't even want HDTV - I
just wanted S-Video output and that's the only boxes (except for their DVR)
that support HDTV. You don't need an HD monitor for HD to work either. I use
the SVideo output on my 36'' Sony without any problems and it is a much
clearer picture on the HD channels as well.

Just go down to the office and pick one up - don't worry about the morons on
the phone - the people at the store will just give you the box. Make sure it
does have the firewire ports on the back however.

Typical Comcast issue - just be persistant and they don't know enough to
continue the argument for long :)
