If you're a newbie, then I would strongly advise following Jarod
Wilson's article. This is probably _the_ best in depth guide to
getting MythTV installed and working. Not only is it very
comprehensive, lots of people on this list have followed it which
means support from the list is good. On top of that it uses the ATrpm
packages which also has great support and are very reliable and easy
to use.
