[mythtv-users] Multiple tuner query (PVR250 + USB DVB-T)

Hi.. Im trying to build a myth-tv system that has a satellite box connected
to a pvr-250, and has a usb digital terrestrial receiver. Individually I can
get either to work fine, but when I add both cards to myth using
mythtv-setup, I end up only being able to watch channels from the first
defined card.

A few more details: the satellite box has its uhf modulated output connected
to the pvr-250's tuner [fixed as channel 47], and myth uses a command line
util to drive an ir thingy to change the channels on the receiver. The card
is configured within myth to have a selection of channels available from a
video source etc, and all works well if this is the only card configured.

The usb dvb-t device is receiving the local digital terrestrial broadcast,
and has its channels configured, there are no duplicate channels between the
pvr250 and the dvb-t. This also works fine, if it is the only card
configured.

When both cards are added, and their sources & channels all added to myth,
the first card defined 'wins' and although the channels from the second card
show up in the epg, they are not selectable by entering their channel no.
The 'c' key which seems to be configured to toggle the tuner inputs causes a
momentary pause in the video, but then it just resumes on the current
channel.. enabling channel navigation from the epg doesnt help either, it
wont entering a no for a channel not on the first defined card does not
switch the channel to it.

I've had a good search and found other people reportedly having myth working
with similar configurations of pvr250/dvb-t, so I guess I've just gone wrong
somewhere..

Can anyone help me work though fixing this? Where should I start looking ?
mythbackend / mythfrontend dont seem to be reporting any obvious errors to
the console.. [all based from knoppmyth r5a16]
