[mythtv-users] MythTV on Itanium (IA-64)?

Hi,

maybe a weird question - I can get my hands on a dual Itanium 64-bit box, w/
4GB mem for little $$. I have been looking for a decent server, since my
PIII-933 is about to give up, and this came across my path.

Does somebody have any experiences running MythTV (backend only with a PVR
250 and a PVR500MCE) on such an architecture (IA-64)? How dependent is
MythTV on the IA-32 architecture?
