    Argueable.

And I'm arguin'! :) In particular, even if you believe that the
cursor navigation is perfectly fine, the lack of error-checking in
Capture Cards is, uh, disgraceful. Really. I've had several people
write to me off-list to say that it's zapped them, too. (I'm trying
to get them to repeat this -on-list, if possible.)

knoppmyth bug, since they chose to use a random svn checkout.

...ah. So was this a mythfrontend (or mythtv-setup) bug that was
fixed in a later svn version, or did KP break it somehow? It's still
unclear to me if anyone can actually point to the line of code
involved and say, "It's fixed."

(Not that I'm arguing that grabbing a random svn was the right thing
to do, mind you.)

Likely due to whatever Qt theme is the default one in knoppmyth.

Actually, this might be while the Knoppix installer is running
(pre-KnoppMyth, pre-Myth), since it's while configuring the network,
so the complaint -might- be w/the Knoppix folks---assuming there's
nothing that KnoppMyth can do to fix it on their own (and assuming
that wouldn't introduce a fork/tracking issue they don't want).

mythtv-setup doesn't have do anything with the remote.

Well, it's LIRC's setup script, I assume. (Or was this script
custom-written for KnoppMyth? It's hard to tell 'cause KP doesn't
publish its techniques & source manifest & well... everything.)

It's whatever script it is that produces a list of about a hundred
different remotes, numbered, and says "pick one". What is that and
who maintains it?

    So, no.
