Thanks for the advice. Regarding subchannel tuning, I cleared
out my channels and did a fresh scan last night. No luck--still
just tunes to subchannel 1 even though the OSD claims it's on
subchannel 2 or 3, unfortunately. Any other ideas?

Regarding the lack of sound, the + and - keys don't help. I
checked my logs again, and I don't see anything glaring. Here's
the log after starting mythfrontend, selecting Watch TV,
then exiting out:

Just to compare, I reverted back to svn 7031 (the one that does
have sound) and did the same thing:

2005-11-01 22:15:02.618 MainServer::HandleAnnounce Playback
2005-11-01 22:15:02.618 adding: linux as a client (events: 0)

2005-11-01 22:15:03.910  PSIP prefix(0x0) tableID(0xc8) length(111)
extension(0x141)
      version(16) current(1) section(0) last_section(0)

2005-11-01 22:15:05.078 Waiting for recorder to start
2005-11-01 22:15:05.079 Recorder to started
2005-11-01 22:15:23.642 Changing from WatchingLiveTV to None

Not sure what the "Desired channel 2_1 not found" and "PSIP prefix"
lines are all about.
