Scott,
   That worked as far as results in the terminal:

Last login: Sat May 28 19:10:30 2005 from 192.168.1.2
xbox:~# su - live
live at xbox:~$ export DISPLAY=:0
live at xbox:~$ xset -dpms
live at xbox:~$

I will not know if the screen is working until tomorrow when I can
phone the location unless they notice and happen to send me an email.
