Yes.  The PVR-500 is newer than the PVR-150 and, as a matter of fact, is 
even less-well supported than the PVR-150.  So, go with a PVR-250, 
then--once you've got some experience setting up the ivtv drivers--you 
can add additional cards as desired.  I.e. buy one PVR-250 now, then buy 
either PVR-250's or PVR-150's once you get the first working.
