[mythtv-users] Sound Blaster Live! 24 bit (ca0106 driver) volume issues

For some reason there is no Master or PCM volume controls in the ALSA
mixer for this card.

Sound is working fine but I cannot control the volume through MythTV
since the only two options are to control volume via PCM or via Master
controls.

The relavent control for me is "Analog Front"

Is there any way for me to either A) tell MythTV to use a user defined
volume control or B) change the ALSA volume control identifier?

I have searched my personal MythTV archives (gmail) and done some
light googling but I probably don't know what to search for exactly.
