[mythtv-users] PVR350 Remote Question

I got my IR blaster somewhat working tonight, in that I can change channels 
with the shell script that calls "irsend" from the command line.

However, when I'm at the TV using the PVR350's remote and I try and change 
channels with either the Channel Up/Down button or the up/down arrow around 
the Okay (like you can with the Hughes DTV boxes), bad things happen.   The 
up/down arrows freezes the screen for a while (long enough for oh say 
mythfrontend to core dump) and it dies.   I have to restart the back end 
and then restart the frontend to get it to work and in many cases I have to 
run a channel changer script (pops up an X box that lets you select your 
inputs, channels, cable mode, etc.) and put the tuner back on ch 3.

If I use the Chan UP/DN buttons, I get a black screen then the core 
dump.   If I enter the channels directly, I see what looks like Myth TV's 
program guide change, but the TV doesn't appear to change with it.

I'm piping my DirecTV into the cable jack (Tuner 0) on the 350.  I have the 
DTV box to output on channel 3.  I've told Mythtvsetup (0.18 btw, FC3 using 
Jarrod's setup), to use the change_chan.sh script from a previous post here 
about my IR problems.  I tell it to start on channel 3 and there is a "live 
tv" channel, which I also set to 3, but it seems to change depending on 
what DTV channel I last set to.

Am I being stupid?  Any help would be appreciated.
