I was trying some different things, one of which was to remove the fglrx
package. I did reinstall it, and as far as I can tell it's working
properly. Xorg-x11-Mesa-libGL was removed because the fglrx package
replaces it for opengl rendering. I did at first try MythTV without the
ATI drivers and the standard xorg libgl pacakge installed, but it was
the same old thing.
