[mythtv-users] Backend dying?

My Mythbox-backend

 

[root at mythbox mythtv]# mythbackend --version

0.16.20040906-1

 

Seem to die spontaneously a cpl of times per week. The kicker is that the
log file gets cleared when it starts back up. Is there any way to keep the
logfile intact?

 

I launch it as /usr/bin/mythbackend --logfile /var/log/mythtv/mythbackend -d
from rc.local
