[mythtv-users] Need help getting Lirc to work with pvr-150

actually,  that should be   /dev/lircd ..  but I tried both lirc
devices just for fun.

this doesn't seem right, is it?

ls -al /dev/lirc*
srw-rw-rw-  1 root root 0 Mar 28 12:49 /dev/lircd
prw-r--r--  1 root root 0 Mar 24 14:57 /dev/lircm
