What errors are you getting?  I think what I did is to
load cx88 module first but you also may need to remove
the tveeprom.ko from /lib/modules/2.6.xx/extra then
run depmod or reboot.  There is a tveeprom.ko in
/lib/modules/2.6.xx/v4l which is the one that the cx88
module wants to use.
