[mythtv-users] EXTREMELY choppy video

Tom:

Could you provide any guidance (a link, or some kind words) to tell me 
how to do that??? I set up my ALSA per Jarod's Guide... that's about all 
I know...

The e-mail ealier recommended I go from playing the sound through "dmix" 
to the ALSA hardware. Any suggestions/clarifications are much appreciated.
