I just went through this, though I'm not done with the MythTV part so
it's possible I've missed something.  Choose one of two routes:

1. Get the pcHDTV 2.0 driver set from
http://www.pchdtv.com/downloads/pcHDTV-2.0.tar.gz .  Follow the
directions in docs/INSTALL.  If you're on Debian, do NOT do 'make
install' because it will not work well.  But if you read the Makefile
you can see what it's trying to do and do it yourself.  This is the
route I followed; it evidently gives you both v4l and dvb drivers for
both cards.  QAM support for HD-2000 is not (yet?) included in this package.

2. Follow the directions at
http://www.pchdtv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=584 .

For HD-2000 you want the dvb_bt8xx module, for HD-3000 the cx88_dvb
module.  I needed to turn on both v4l and dvb core support (as modules)
in my kernel build.
