[mythtv-users] Live and recorded TV strethed to the right

I finally got a myth setup running with a pvr-150 ver. 1045, and it
works great for the most part. However, when I watch live tv or
recordings, almost a quarter of the screen on the right side is missing
and the remaining picture is stretched to full screen. 
 
This doesn't seem to be a problem with the 150, since I can cat
/dev/video0 into an mpeg and watch it in mplayer just fine. My attempts
to change mythtv's under/overscan result in the same picture with black
bars on either side, so that's not it either. I'm using a vga ->
composite cable for tv out, and it displays everything else properly, so
I don't think its that either.
 
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
