Hi Everyone,
    I have tried to use various different perl scripts and the c program 
that was posted in the forums.

   Based on the c program in the forums I have created a new program 
which has a little more functionaility.
   I added the ability to turn on and off the receiver. Enter in the 
locks and limits code. Get the time/date,
   current channel #, and satellite strength.

    I am personally using this on my Hughes Executive Directors Pack for 
the last few weeks with no issues at all.

   I also made it modular, so if a new reciever codes come out, it 
should be pretty easy for us to create a new driver.
   It should also be possible to make it work with other boxes that use 
serial control also.

Usage: satcontrol [ OPTIONS ] Version 0.01
       OPTIONS := -a                 - Turns the Receiver Power on
                             -c {channel} - Changes the channel to the 
number specified
                            -d {code}      - Disable Lock and Limits
                            -s                   - Get Receiver Statts
                            -z                   - Turns the Receiver 
Power Off
                            -v                   - Version Information
                         -? or -h              - This help menu
