I tried mpgtx but it wouldn't handle the file at all:
# mpgtx -X -i 1000_20050303060000_20050303091500.nuv
mmm, this file does not start with a pack, offset: 0
use the desperate_mode switch as the first option -X to search for a header in
the whole file!
if you want to force the operation. May yield to an endless loop if no valid
header is found!
warning: couldn't find any valid system header. I'm continuing anyway
1000_20050303060000_20050303091500.nuv can not be handled by this program
I then had a look with tcprobe which reported the following:
# tcprobe -i 1000_20050303060000_20050303091500.nuv
[tcprobe] MPEG packetized elementary stream (PES)
[tcprobe] summary for 1000_20050303060000_20050303091500.nuv, (*) = not default,
0 = not detected
import frame size: -g 720x576 [720x576]
aspect ratio: 16:9 (*)
frame rate: -f 25.000 [25.000] frc=3
PTS=4663.1543, frame_time=40 ms, bitrate=4350 kbps

PTS=4662.6371, bitrate=256 kbps
-D 12 --av_fine_ms 37 (frames & ms) [0] [0]
This indicates that the stream is not a TS. Has anyone got any idea why I can't
split it?
Chris
