[mythtv-users] Freezing during playback during FF or REW

Sometimes when I'm playing back, mythtv would freeze
when FF or REW (30 second skip not 10 min).  The
screen  picture would lock up.  Killing the frontend
and restarting it does not help the problem as part of
the picture remains on the screen.  I usually have to
reboot.  

Here's what I could get from /var/log/messages. 
Anybody ever seen this?  I'm using MythTV .17 and FC2
with a PVR350 tuner and vid out.
