I did have a look, and thought it odd myself :)
Over the W/E, I replaced the video_dir 'myth:' link with an actual
symlink to the NFS dir. (I run Apache on my main PC, with mythweb
talking to my PVR) and the problem seemed to go away that way.
Leastways, I've not seen it since then, but I'm still a little
cautious accessing mythweb ATM as post-0.17 it was [apparently] causing
my backend to die horribly and I've not had time to try to recreate that
with full debug on.
