Almost...  You're right about the no "ALSA:" in the mixer device, but 
its name should be "default" (no quotes).  However, there is currently a 
patch in place that allows "ALSA:default" to work (may not be in 0.18.1, 
yet, but I think it is).  It just strips off the "ALSA:" if it's there.

If you've already tried "ALSA:default" and it didn't work, that would 
mean that "default" won't work, either, unless you have an "old" version 
of Myth.  Worth a try just in case, though...
