[mythtv-users] OT installed fc4 and lost my lvm Physical Volume

I had Mythtv running with fc1 installed with two hard drives hda and
hdb. I wanted to install fc4 on a new hard drive (hdc) and dual boot
until I got everything transferred over to fc4.

On my fc1 system I had two physical volumes hda5 and hdb1. After my
fc4 install, if I now boot up fc1 I get an error saying,
mount: /dev/VGforMyth/myth is not a valid block device

During the process of installing fc4 I guess I deleted the partition for hdb1.

Is it possible to recover the hdb1 partition on my hdb drive?

Any suggestions on software or ways to do this?

I'm not sure what I did wrong during the install process. I thought I
was careful to only create new partitions on hdc.

This looks fine,
[root at mythtv log]# fdisk -l /dev/hda

Disk /dev/hda: 160.0 GB, 160041885696 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 19457 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

   Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1   *         1        13    104391   83  Linux
/dev/hda2            14      6387  51199155   83  Linux
/dev/hda3          6388      6517   1044225   82  Linux swap
/dev/hda4          6518     19457 103940550    f  Win95 Ext'd (LBA)
/dev/hda5          6518      7977  11727418+  83  Linux
/dev/hda6          7978     19457  92213068+  8e  Linux LVM

But I get nothing for this

[root at mythtv log]# fdisk -l /dev/hdb

Disk /dev/hdb: 102.9 GB, 102935347200 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 12514 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

   Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
[root at mythtv log]#

Thanks for the help.

Andy
