in the mythtv-setup-->General-->Host Address Backend Setup
have u set the *right IP Address* for "mythtv" and "Master Server" 
 is your backend and frontend running on the same machine ?
if yes, then set the IP Address for "mythtv" and "Master Server" as *"
127.0.0.1 <http://127.0.0.1>"*
