I actually have my storage server separate so that I can use a mirrored
RAID array for my storage server and not have to deal with the decreased
write performance that it would bring to my mythbackend server.

As others have mentioned, you can name this whatever you want.  I think
Myth defaults to /video.  I have /mythtv for my myth tv files, and then
I NFS mount my storage server onto /media for all of my other read-only
files, (images, ogg, Xvid, etc.)  Now I just need to get the stinkin
mpeg2 -> Xvid process working cleanly ... but that's another email chain.
