The line in on your 350 is for when you use the composite or s-video inputs.
It should be connected to your picture source unless you are using the tuner
input. In that case it should not be connected to anything. The 350 outputs
the sound as part of the mpeg stream and does not require a connection to
your sound card.

Your dvd drive on the other hand does require a connection to the sound
card. There is usually an input on the inside of the computer specifically
for a CD or DVD drive and you should have a cable directly connecting the
drive audio output to the card. AFAIK when you play dvd's myth will activate
the standard CD audo input unless you configure it to use another input. Not
sure how to do that but I am sure its possible :)
